I wonder, have you ever attended a non-personal, matter of fact style funeral ceremony that left you feeling cold and disillusioned?

Me too! And I firmly believe it should never be this way.

Here for you

A ceremony that truly reflects a loved one, delivered in a warm and loving way, can make a funeral ceremony a memory to be treasured.

At this hugely difficult time, the task of planning the ceremony can seem overwhelming. I will guide you through the process gently, every step of the way.

It is very important to me that you are 100% satisfied with the ceremony I deliver on the day and I go all out to achieve that.

You can rest assured that I am fully trained in Funeral Celebrancy with many years’ experience and it is my pleasure and privilege to write and deliver ceremonies for those of all faiths or for all those who have no faith.

A step by step guide for you...

You would inform your chosen Funeral Director that you would like to use my celebrant services

We will piece together a Eulogy for your loved one

Typically, we will then meet face to face or on the phone if distance prohibits

I will then go away and write a complete ceremony

This will be delivered to you in plenty of time before the day for you to make amends and or any additions

We will discuss all the choices that are needed for the ceremony, order of service sheets, music, poetry etc…

I deliver the ceremony on the day.

I charge £225 for my services as detailed above.

A few kind words

Funerals are difficult.

But Sophie made it easy and judged the tone perfectly.

We were keen for a gentle, lighthearted service.

We'd had time to mourn before the funeral and wanted the occasion to be a celebration, to reflect happily upon my father's life and the joy that he brought us.

Sophie's reading of the eulogy was perfect.

We couldn't have asked for more. More importantly I think my dad would have been pleased too.
